OK I have been reading a lot about transgenic food and I know it is practically in all processed foods and it hit store shelves in 1995 so I have been eating it my entire life. I just think it is risky because the research done on the health risks didn't look at horizontal gene transfer in some studies they didn't even look at how it affected the intestines. In Europe it has to be labeled but in the US it doesn't. I would like to be able to choose if I want to consume something that has been altered at the genetic level. What do you think?

Monster Energy Drinks, seriously, would like advice from a health professional?
I know a lot of questions have been asked about energy drinks, but still, here goes I started drinking Monster energy drinks about 2 years ago. I NEVER drank more than one a day, but I would never go a day without one one. About a year ago an aquaintance, who is a nurse, convinced me to stop and so I did, for about a year, I'd only drink about one a month. I missed them and thought about them quite regurlarly,and whenever I'd drink one, I'd feel like ''myself'' again awake and ready, and much more valiant I guess it sounds like the regurlar effects of caffeine, but to me it gives me a certain something that reminds me of amphetamines, only on a much smaller scale, but a sort of artistic focus, and a drive to create...I recently picked up the habit right where I left it I'm back to one a day. They seem to give me the focus I need, make me feel altogether better, and peppy, and help me sleep a little less at night. Part of it is psychosomatic I feel a little better as soon as I hear the can pop open. I truely don't want to give them up, but am concerned about the long term effects. I hear it's somehow bad for the kidneys could someone please explain why that is?I always drink the 473ml cans, like I said, no more than one a day. Also I drink it very slowly, I never gulp it down or anything but instead try to make it last at least 2 hours. Is there any way for me to keep enjoying these without risking my health?Also people on both sides of my family have diabetes, and I hear there's quite a bit of sugar even though I can't find it anywhere on the label. By the sweet sweet taste I'm guessing this is true P How is it worse than drinking , say 3 4 cups of coffee a day?What if I drink them for 6 months a year and quit for 6 months will that give my body time to recover for another half year binge ? What are the health tips to be followed for a person working in night shift?
During normal days I usually sleep for 6 hrs which I feel is adequate, I sleep the same number of hours for night shift also, is that adequate or should I need more rest?Also what should be time span between every meal, I take something in the morning before I go to sleepI then get up sometimes in the evening, have something before I leave for work, at midnight around 1 pm , I take a snackBesides all this I try to do fitness, I workout twice,its mostly jogging or running.During morning I either workout after my food or after having it I usually do after 2 3 hours gap ,while in the evening I do it before foodIs there any changes that I must bring in this routine or would this be fineI work for 6 days a week in night shift,its really tiring

Is there a website or method that I can use to tell me how much I should burn and how? Like " if I eat 1 whole pizza, I will have to burn X amount of calories" then give examples how, like jogging for X amount of time, X amount of crunches or X amount of walking. I need some examples of WHAT i should be doing to burn the calories off.

Health risks about gaining weight?
all my life i was very skinny and im gonna try and change that. im gonna buy a supplement for 1000cal per serve and eat alot of junk food like cupcakes, peanuts and others, im gonna exercise regularly but is there a risk of in taking alot of fat to quick? and can yall tell me other products that makes me gain weight thx in advance
Health questions about diets?
I'm 145 lbs, 5'5' and a sixteen year old female. I'd really like to get down to around 120, or 115, or whatever seems thin, yet healthy. But, I don't think that I should cut my calories because as it is I only eat around 1200... but I have a really poor diet. So, if I start eating fruits and vegetables and what not, and work out three times a week by running for a half hour, how much weight do you think that I could lose in a month? And, any tips?
