Is it bad to chew gum when you're losing weight?
i thought i heard somewhere that you shouldn't chew gum when you're trying to lose weight. i only go for gum when i need something to keep me from eating food when i'm not hungry and it's always sugar free. so should i not chew gum?
Lose weight without working out?
I weigh 145lbs and am 5'3. I would like to be around 120 or 125lbs by summer. However, when I work out I get extremely dizzy, pass out, or get sick. I've decided to cut all " junk" from my diet, including sodas and replacing them with heathier foods and water. But how else can I lose the weight?
Is this a good plan for running and losing weight?

Would you say this I have a problem with eating and weight?
So, for around 4 years I have had a problem with my body image. I'm a normal body weight but i just look at myself in the mirror and it looks as if i've been stretched sideways.So 4 years ago when i was 13 i was allowed to use diet pills by my mum Bad idea, i know and from then onward its just got worse. I go through fazes where i starve fast then eat. And with each faze i take another extreme, I'm now at the point where i throw up after meals, I starve myself for up to a week, I constrict myself to 800 calories a day and after dinner i'll burn 600 in the gym, i'll abuse laxatives and i'll abuse Welda Ipecac to induce vomiting. I am now beginning to realize that this is getting out of control. Though i haven't had health problems from this because like i said its more a pattern sequence of fazes so there are periods of time when i get nutrition. The fazes used to be months of not caring what i'd eat it took effort to get that mind set into my head and then i'd spend about 2 months doing this. But as time went on these fazes got closer together, its now only a month between each starve and vomiting faze and everything. I've been through 2 starving and vomiting fazes already in 2012. Eventually my best friend started suspecting these things, and i told her yesterday.. She wants to take me to see a doctor. But I'm terrified of the doctor turning around and saying there is nothing wrong and im being pathetic or something like that. Oh, i also have a history in self harm if that helps your opinion.Many thanks, it seriously means a lot, because without these answers i wont gain the courage to see my doctor
How can I gain weight, within a month or two?
I am 86 lbs, and 5'1" . I have been skinny for a while now, and I hate looking in the mirror. I am such a happy person but the sad part is whenever I look in the mirror I want to cry. I just need help I drink 2 Boosts, a day.I eat breakfast,lunch, and dinner, and sometimes I eat snacks throughout the day.I even eat junk food, don't get me wrong I eat fruits and vegetables also. What exercises can I do to make myself, gain weight.?What else can I do?

Diet plan and losing weight?
Im 20 years old and a stay at home mom to a 18 month old. I was a 120 lbs before I got pregnant now im 145 lbs. Im wanting to start a good healthy eating plan..any ideas? And I started walking 2 miles a day will I notice any changes in a month? Though im going to continue after the month im just wondering if there will be any visible changes within that amount of time

I just ruined my weight loss?
So today I was sick from school, and usually when I'm home, I don't do anything so I eat.... I have been good with my weight loss, trying to eat healthier, and excersising everyday, but today I basically ruined everything. Just in the last maybe hour, or hour and a half, I ate like six pieces of cheese, which was marble, two glasses of Apple juice, a bowl of mushroom soup, a bowl of special k cereal, well that is about it... I clearly don't feel good, but I don't know what to do... Help ???
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!! Why i'm i gaining weight if i'm starting to eat healthy again?
I never ate junk food, in fact, that was the problem, i didn't eat at all. For a month maybe i ate 600 700 calories a day....and worked my butt of. I lost 15 lbs in a month, and people were shocked, but i realized what i had was beginning to drive me insane, i was hungry all the time, and was never satisfied. Until my parents and i had a talk, and that's when i knew i was starting to have symptoms of anorexia. I now eat 3 meals, and 2 healthy snacks, i'm consuming about 1000 plus cals a day...in 4 days i gained 4 pounds, i'm scared i'm going to keep on gaining them if i start eating like this....someone please explain to me why i'm gaining weight so fast?
What would be a good weight set/bench?
I want to start working out so that i can become a bodybuilder but I am not sure where to start. I am 19 about 180lbs 5' 6 or 7" . I have an athletic build I used to play football but I have a flabby stomach and I would like to be stronger and bigger. I have about 200 to 300 dollars to spend on a weight bench and weights but i dont know exactly what to buy. I have a set of dumbells already and a jump rope for cardio inside. What would be a good bench for bigginers. Also I read about a kid that died from his barbell falling on his neck while working out, is that something that can happen with a bad set of wieght or was he just irresponsible?
How to lose weight but keep my curves?
I am a curvy girl similar to kim k or Jennifer Lopez. I love my curves and I am nervous to workout more and then i'll lose my curvy figure. What can I do to lose 10 to 15 lbs and keep it off also, get toned up I plan on getting a gym membership very soon, what should I do to get a flatter stomach but tone everything up? I've lost about 50 lbs within the past couple years and kept it off with eating right and working out here and there.
