Question: Did anyone get sick like a week after doing the acai berry 14 day colon cleanse?

I just started taking it last tuesday. not even a week ago! so yesterday morning, saturday, i took the pills prior to breakfast, as directed and i ate a few grapes and was gonna eat lunch in an hour. than i went to the store around 11 and had to leave cuz i had to throw up. and i did end up throwing up right when i got home. i havent felt sick from these yet like this!!!!!! i took the pill around 9:30 and an hour and a half later i got sooo sick to my stomach. ive taken the same time for the past 5 days. has anyone else gotten this sick????? i stopped taking it for right now but i want to know if anyone had this problem!! thanks :)

Trust me, none of those things normally work. If it's giving you those kinds of side effects, stop. That's not good.

It probably was the pills but think of the things you ate and if anything could have gotten you sick. I got sick 2 days ago from eating old eggs that looked fine and tasted fine but made me rush for the bathroom in a mall 1-2 hours after I had eaten them to throw up. I still feel a bit off two days later.

I personally avoid those "cleansing " products.. they don't agree with me. I take just two spoons of freeze-dried powder in my smoothie in the morning and feel great. I personally like Amazon Thunder. Their site is AmazonThunder.com/ realacaiberries

This experience is typical of doing a cleanse. Actually, it's the entire reason you are doing a cleanse, so it's a sign that it is working for you. The point of a cleanse is to disrupt, breakdown and eventually remove the built up toxins and bacteria in your colon and large intestines. Remember, this is likely a LOT of toxins, over the course of many years (if you haven't been doing regular cleanses). When it loosens up the toxins, they often enter the blood stream and can make you feel sick. If it carries on for more than another two or so days, I'd encourage you to visit your doctor just for a professional opinion. Best of luck with it!
