Question: Does eating health cause you to fart more?

Nice question to be asking. Ok, here is the story, my wife has got me eating healthier foods. Cheerios for breakfast, more whole wheat (ie bread and pasta), more fish, drinking more water and less pop, using less salt and quit eating frozen meals for lunch (due to high sodium). The good news is that I have lost 6 lbs in about 2 months and my blood pressure is coming down. BUT, I have noticed that I farting a lot more. I will go to the bathroom and 5 minutes later I farting again. So, is eating healthier causing me to fart more?

I believe so. Especially if you are cutting down on your red meats. It is terrible to fart more, but on the bright side...it is very very very likely that they will smell a little less terrible! Haha so look forward to that, I guess...haha.
