How would someone become partially anorexic? [for health class]? easy 10 pts?

Question: How would someone become partially anorexic? [for health class]? easy 10 pts?

(Posted by: Sad~X/x/X~Star on 2010-02-07 17:10:15)

First of all, I am in health class and I'm doing a project on anorexia. So I'm not trying to be anorexic. I want to know what it would take for someone who went to my school to be anorexic. So, I created a schedule that I think a normal student would have. Again, I'm not trying to be anorexic. Morning: Eat breakfast at home, or possibly on the bus or in the car. This could mean a bowl of cereal or fruit. Around 7 AM. Mid- morning: Around 9 AM. break from school. 10 minutes long. Most people eat around this time. Noon: Eat lunch at 11:40 AM at school. Home lunch is brought to school. Afternoon: Snack after school. Evening: Dinner. How might someone who goes to my school with this average eating schedule become anorexic? For the third time, I am not trying to be anorexic. P.S. I do know everything else about the disorder, but this paragraph is about how someone would do this. 10 points best answer. He/ She may eat a little bit throughout the day, so I don't mean just completely not eating. Would they chew lots of gum? Drink water to forget hunger? How would they be anorexic without parents knowing?

It's simple. anorexics train themselves to withstand hunger, and their disgust for food helps. gum, gallons of water, excessively exercising; all of these things keep your mind off of food AND prevent weight gain. it's easy to not notice anorexia at first, being "sick " or eating "right before " are common excuses and are usually passed off as true. it's just when it gets excessive and becomes a common pattern, when people start to notice.
