To cut it short, what can I do to become fit and healthy because right now i am borderlining the 'obese' BMI. I know the basics = "eat healthily, burn more calories than you consume, no fatty foods, lots of exercise ". It's all easy to say on paper but for me (and this will be my 4th try) in reality i just can seem to do it. My parents can't cook these really healthy things 'cause they take lots of time and they get in late so it has to be things that can cook easily. Plus i have school, sitting down most of the day so i'm not really that active. I'm coming to the end of my GCSEs so I have tons of work to do. I would like to be fit before october because by then it will be easier to keep it off rather than work it off. Before the end of March, I will have a treadmill and a multi gym thing in my house but nothing else apart from an awkward position punch bag. Anyway what SHOULD I do and what SHOULDN'T I do. Should i have a 'treat day' every so often or not? How will i motivate myself to do it? The exersise isn't so bad, it's the eating habbits, i pretty much eat nothing healthily but on the other hand i don't eat sooooooooo bad... Btw i'm 15 and 1/ 2, about 5'6 i'm probably nearer 5'7 now and I way around 145 pounds and i can assure you that is not muscle.. I would like: no fat stomach and nice arms. Thank you!
