Question: Is there a health guru that can help me?

I not only want to lose some weight, but I want to tone my stomach, arms, thighs, and calves. I have no idea how to, though. I want to be in the best shape that I've ever been in by summer. Do you have any workout tips, eating tips, toning tips, or recipes? If it encourages you any, the most detailed answer will win best answer. Thanks in advance! |

OK first off if you can afford it and if you want a work out video the Insanity workout will kick your butt! I got very toned very quickly. Also I took a class in high school called Exercise Physiology and Wellness where all we did was workout and the teacher taught us how to work out with little to no equipment! So this will save you some money... -Push ups with resistance are always wonderful! I'm not talking girly push ups do a normal push up and have someone press down on your back just a little. -Wall sits with dumbbells. go as long as you possibly can. -lunges with dumbbells. - Calf raises on the edge of a step. - Ab workouts. This website has it all. Make sure to work every part of your abs. askthetrainer.com/ 100-abdominal-exercises.html Remember you have to max out on everything! Don't just stop when it starts to hurt a little keep going until you literally can't possibly do any more. Jillian Michael's dvd has helped me and she will kick your butt. To stay motivated I make a two week chart and exercise 5 days a week and cross off each day that I exercise. If I meet my goal I reward myself with something that I want like a pedicure. |
