Question: Does green tea keep its health benefits when using microwaved water?

It's easier than boiling water every time. Just wondering if it affects the amount of antioxidants and other health benefits you get out of it or something.

As long as you don't put the actual tea in the microwave, you'll be fine. Just boil the water in the microwave first then steep the tea bag.

The method of heating the water has no effect. No scientific test could tell if water was heated by microwaves or on your stove. Conclusion: Yes
