I don't have the best eating habits and i'm wondering how they will affect me later on in life. I don't eat fruit of any nature (aside from blueberries, ) and i rarely eat meat apart from sandwich meats. I don't drink soda, or juices other than orange juice, as a result i consume lots of water. Vegetables are ok (unless its corn, or leafy vegetables, ) but i love the bread family: cereal, breads, pastas, potatoes, ect. I'm 18 and my family and friends always tease/ warn me about my eating habits. I'm afraid that i might be harming myself or on a path that will lead to a poor future health. I'm 5'5 113lbs if that matters.

You eat way to many starchy foods. That's not good. All them starchy foods will eventually end up making you fat and that will increase your chances of getting cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. You don't eat enough vegetables and that will increases your chances of getting a specific type of cancer called colon cancer. Vegetables are loaded with fiber which helps prevent colon cancer. Your source of protein is lunch meat that is not heart healthy protein because it has cholesterol and saturated fat. Heart healthy proteins are proteins like like soy beans, small portions of fish, egg whites, etc. That increase your chances of getting high blood pressure, hyperlipidemia, atherosclerosis, etc.. too. Your weight is fine, but you probably don't have a lot of muscle at that weight. You need to put on some muscle to help prevent osteoporosis and improve your overall health.

Of course it will. We all ate crappy like that as kids. Well, most of us. And guess what? A lot of us were thin as kids too. There didn't use to be so many obese kids back in the day. Anyways, we ate crappy and were skinny but as adults, because we continued eating crappy, we got fat and a lot of us wound up with diabetes. I wish I had your smarts at 18 and made the changes then. I mean, my dumb butt just stopped eating all together. Yeah, I stayed skinny but that just created other problems. I wish my parents taught me what I try to teach people here every day. Good nutrition based on how the human body works. good luck and good question!
