I'm 18 and I weight like 175 pounds? I'm not fat but I am chubby and have big hips and loose skin. I'm a vegetarian. I stopped drinking soda and artificial drinks a year ago so practically everything I drink is water. I lost almost 10 pounds in one month during the summer because I was more active I do a lot of cardio.. I do not want too gain a lot of muscle I just want to be skinnierI want to weight at least 160 pounds? I'm 5'11 in height.... I recently gained like 10 more pounds or more due to winter and being inactive and all so I got lazy but I'm trying to get back in shape for the sumemr and this time I want drastic changes! noticeable changes.... I eat pretty healthy knowing I'm avegetarian almost everything I have in my house is fruits and vegetables... If I begin my dancing exercises (fast dancing, hip hop, breakdancing, etc.) how long do you think it will take for me to lose at least 50 pounds? I think the main problem that made me gain so much weight was bread.... bread is my weakness and it's also theone thing that makes me fat in a short time.....

Average weight loss is only 9-15lbs a year, so this is a long term lifestyle issue not a quick fix. Do you see the box near the top of the page? The one labelled 'Search for questions: '? Well type in 'lose weight'. You will find over 518,682 pre-existing questions. Try the misspellings 'loose weight' and there are another 119,033 In all there are over 637,715 Health section questions requesting solutions to being or thinking you might be overweight. On average these each yield 6 answers, that is nearly 4 million answers. (Without searching for any other variations on the question!) I can usefully summarise these answers in 4 words: EAT LESS DO MORE. Are you desperate enough to try this???

First, you should try to lose maybe 25 pounds. 50 is too much. 50 pounds would probably take you about a year to do the right way. 25 pounds you might be able to do by the summer.

You can try a detox for fast weight loss... Breakfast: Any amount of fresh fruit, but if you choose banana, only have one a day. You may include a quarter cup of raw nuts with this 3 times a week. Mid-morning: Any amount of fresh fruit, but no banana if you had for breakfast. Alternatively, you may have dried fruit, but only a cup. Lunch: Large raw salad with olive oil and balsamic vinegar as a dressing. Do not add any processed foods, such as feta cheese, and store-bought salad dressings. You are allowed herbs, but try to have organic herbs if possible if you are having dried herbs. Or you can have lightly steamed veggies with a little olive oil and herbs. Mid-afternoon: More fruit - preferably fresh. Or you can juice the fruit and drink it. Dinner: If you had the salad for lunch, you can have the steamed veggies now, or vice versa. Basic guidelines: It is advisable to stop drinking coffee a few days before you plan to begin your detox, as these detox symptoms are the worst. Do not consume any processed foods during the detox. No sugar or sugar replacements to be used. No dairy. No meat, including fish and chicken. You may have one medium potato per day for the first 3 days, but not after that, until 2-3 days before you plan to end your detox. After the first 2 - 3 days, you may want to try fasting, which will speed up the weight loss faster. Only have herbal teas, with honey or agave syrup to sweeten if necessary. Drink plenty of filtered water. To help your body further, I recommend using a cold pressed, organic flax seed oil together with organic wheatgrass (available at pharmacies). Remember to consult with your doctor before attempting any drastic dietary changes.
