Does anyone know what two fats can be left off of the nutrition label in the US?
I can't find it in my nutrition book for the life of me. I know it's required to list saturated, trans, polyunsaturated, and monounsaturated. Anyone know the two that can be left off?
Where can I get advice about proper nutrition.?
Ok I read that wheat is bad and makes you put on weight, then I hear don't eat dairy or red meat as that's bad, then carbs are bad, I can't live of vegetable, so what the hell are you suppose to eat, then I read milk is full of hormones as is meat.... I am so confused.
A question about bed time nutrition?
I know that you are supposed to eat before sleep to build muscle, but exactly how long before bed should you eat?
Don't you think MSG should be included in the nutrition facts along with trans and saturated fats?
Msg is usually just with the ingredients and they disguise their name suc as yeast extract or gluten. if it is really that hazardous, shouldn't it be included in the nutrition facts section to let ppl know how much it contains?
Started going to the gym recently and need help with some exercise/nutrition questions...?
Im a 23 year old female, weighing 202lbs at 5'5 and although Im pretty well proportioned, I carry most of my weight in my stomach. Yes, I know that isn't " healthy" although I don't have high blood pressure or other health issues. My goal is to lose around 50 60lbs and tone up, especially in my stomach area. Well, a few days ago I signed up for the 24 hour fitness close to where I live and although I've gone twice, I would like to figure out a routine that I can do to benefit me the most... So far I've been walking to the gym, which is a little over 2 miles away, doing an additional 10 15 minutes on the treadmill once I get there then 20 reps on a few of the leg machines the first day and today I did the same with my arms. What should I add or change? To go along with that, I know I need to eat healthier but again, I dont know what will benefit me. One of the employees was explaining to me about balancing meals, eating every two hours, eating lots of fiber and protein and no carbs or sugars after 6pm but I still dont know how many carbs, proteins, fibers, etc. that I can and SHOULD eat. I hope I've explained this well, but if not, I will answer any questions you need answered. Thanks in advanced.

I am 5'4" and 131 lbs with 29 % body fat. If I simply cut out the junk food and eat relatively healthy except for 2 cheat meals once a week, what type of results mightt I see? Also, I have cheer practice twice a week in addition to the workouts.
I'm not following the nutrition guide on P90X. Is that a big deal?
I'm not an overweight person. I just want to gain weight and muscle. I haven't been following the P90X nutrition guide. I wanna ask this question now since i'm on day 5. I still eat healthy, but is the nutrition guide a must follow? Would it be appropriate if I just eat a lot of protein and carbs everyday? Thanks...

Where to learn about Nutrition as far as Supplements go?
Ive taken supplements before as a part of working out and recently got back into it, Whenever I would buy one I would look at many reviews about each product and they would talk about something that's in it and say that it's good for your body and I'd be like ahh okay. But where can I go to learn it all for myself? I looked around the web trying to find places that talk about that type of nutritional information and couldn't find hardly anything at all.
