Question: Are honey roasted peanuts good for you?? nutrition facts inside!?

I am on a diet and i would like to eat honey roasted peanuts as my snack. i am just concerned with the fat content. i generally eat 1oz, twice a day. so 2oz total. here are the nutrition facts: serving size 1oz total fat 13g sat fat 2g polyunsatured 4g monounsaturated 6g cholest 0mg sodium 110mg potassium 180mg carbs 7g fiber 2g sugar 4g protein 6g is this ok to eat as a snack if i am on a diet? or is it too high in fat content? thanks!

It does contain healthy fats, but it might not be good for you in the end if you eat it everyday. The fat content is high and so is the calories.

I don't know, but I LOVE THEM!!! Nuts in general have a high percentage of fat. But, it's not animal fat and a little fat can't hurt you. They also have good things in them like Vitamin E, Niacin, etc. Check this out: peanut-institute.org/ 120104_PR.html

I'd suggest having almonds/ walnuts or seeds (pumpkin/ sunflower) instead of peanuts. Try 1/ 4 cup OR try 2tbsp natural smooth/ crunchy peanut butter on breads/ crackers/ celery/ apples/ bananas or stirred in hot oatmeal/ popcorn. Goodluck!
