I've started a healthier lifestyle. I've been eating well and exercising 6 days a week. I would never starve myself nor do anything dangerous for my body. I'm 5'4 and I want to lose about 20 pounds to be around 115 lbs. I gained alot of weight over the past couple of relationships, and since I am single now..I think it's the perfect opportunity. Lately, when I start snacking on something..I would feel ALOT of guilt. Most of it isn't that unhealthy either, it would be a piece of dark chocolate or a scoop of natural peanut butter. I shouldn't beat myself over it, but I worry as if I completely destroyed my plan. If I didn't sweat during my workout, I felt like i got nothing accomplished. I'm scared that that my mentality is starting to become unhealthy. I don't want to think as this as a diet, but a new lifestyle. It's how I want to live for the rest of my life, but a part of me wants to see fast results! I'm scared that I will never end up losing weight. Has anyone felt like this?

You have been listening to too many diet experts. You can eat tnything you like and enjoy it. Just don't eat too much per day. I am a 175# 70+ yo man who is active, but doesn't exercise. I lost 14# the last 21 days. I bought a little scale and a calory book. I am doing fine on 1000 calories a day. I weigh the same I did when I was 18 now. Oh now i am 161# This am I had fried potatoes and for lunch I had a Wendy's double stack. I have room for a 500 cal supper or a 400+ a beer. You can do it too. First the fat will get real soft, then it will gradually disapear and the skin will gradually shrink back tight.

Hey... janet here.. hopefully my own personally story can be of some guidance/ help to you.. I'm 5'8 and at the time I was about 220 lbs.. and was trying real hard to lose weight for almost 8 months... i just had a baby girl at the time.. and during my pregnancy i gained a tonnnn of weight and much of it stuck with me after she was born, and the hubby began getting on my case and bothering me non stop about my new weight problem... so after a few months of that, it really started getting to me, plus summer was about to get here- and i love the beach! So i decided to try and do something about it... ive since tried almost every diet system out there... the standard eat less-exercise more change lifestyle diet, south beach, atkins, slimfast, acai berry, weight watchers, etc... I also tried taking many different weight loss supplements.. and overall nothing has really worked well for me.... But i came across this diet program > > fatloss.pcti-system.com .. which a couple of my girlfriends put me onto, and it worked amazing for me like nothing else has. Right now I'm only 180 lbs.. I'm still overweight but I've already lost 40 pounds and I'm well on my way to my goal of 160 lbs.. I hope i was of some help.. I wish you all the best of luck!

I hate the word diet. It sounds restricting and full of rules. Cardio is great for your heart and is the key to burning calories. Me personally, I eat normally. I don't like a lot of meat so I save fat there. I always have a ton of fruit in my fridge to snack on. Fruit is sweet and to me tastier than a cookie or other junk food. You say that you like a piece of dark chocolate and a spoonful of peanut butter. There is nothing bad about that and actually that is a healthy snack. Dark Chocolate is less fattening and it has antioxidants. It also elevates your mood. Peanut Butter gives you energy and and is rich in protein. Eat in moderation. If you eat healthy meals and you want a special treat then have that ice cream, maybe add some chocolate syrup and sprinkles. Giving yourself little treats every now and then will make you feel like you are not being deprived of anything and it will help you stay on your diet. Fast results are never good results. Keep going a moderate pace and you will see results. Oh, also bottle water is so good for you! I drink about 60 or more ounces a day. Sneaking a soda every once in awhile will not kill you. Everything in moderation!
