Im 15 and i need to lose weight! Im not really that fat but i am getting there i need to lose some weight! I just stated track monday and i run the 2 mile and the one mile so i run a lot of miles. For breakfest i eat a bowl of cearl and at school for lunch i eat a bag of chips, idk if i should eat more or not because i have track after school. What should i do to lose some weight and start eating healthy?? and remember im only 15 and live with my mom so i have to eat what she fixes for supper wether thats going out or eating in and when we do go out idk what to eat that would be healthy! I really need some help and would greatly apperciate it, thanks!

Just because you are living with your mom doesn't excuse you eating things you shouldn't, since your mom knows you are in track...she should be fixing more healthy things for you and when you are eating out, you are the one that chooses your meal so be smart about it. plus if you are in track and you are running that many miles than you should be eating well. not a lot, but well. and well is not a bag of chips..............but it also isn't a salad and some baby carrots you have to eat a lot of proteins but don't eat chips

Your breakfast and dinners are ok, but you need to eat healthy for lunch too. Try a regular sized salad, some fruit, some crackers, and lots of water. The key to losing weight is to balance food and exercise.

Since you are in track you need to drink lots of water and you arent eating enough. breakfast: cereal, piece of toast with peanut butter, fruits, oatmeal. yogurt, eggs lunch and dinner: salad with some bread. sandwich with chips. water. fish. chicken. salmon. pasta

Continue what you're doing, and add crunches and push ups. Don't eat too little because then you're stomach starts to growl and ur rlly hungry, it's called starvation mode. When you're under starvation mode, the next time you eat, you tend to eat more than you're supposed to, which makes you gain more weight. Eat at the right times, and the right amount. But remember: If you are thin, you should consume 2400 calories per day. If you're aiming to lose weight, consume 1500-1800 per day. More or less is bad for you. If you consume too many calories, burn it off right away. Also, lose the bag of chips, and switch it with a real meal (not too oily though).

Well, Stacy, let's see what you're eating. I'm assuming you aren't eating healthy cereal, so I'm going to assume you're eating some high-sugar kiddie cereal. Then, for lunch, you eat a bag of chips. Seriously? And you wonder why you're gaining weight? Let me state this again: your breakfast is sugar and your lunch is fat. That's the problem: you eat like crap! As for eating more, YES. The way sumo wrestlers get so fat is by eating one big meal a day. That's right: ONE! Why? Because it slows the metabolism. You're hardly eating all day, then you come home to a supper. That means you're slowing your metabolism, and when you do that, it retains more fat. As for eating whatever your mom fixes, here's an idea: why don't YOU make dinner for the family? Seriously, if you want to eat something healthy, take matters into your own hands. I was 4 when I started cooking meals for my family. If I can do it at 4, I'm sure you can manage at 15. Sorry to sound so harsh, but it's a tough love thing...you need this beat into your head. How do I know? Because you're eating CHIPS FOR LUNCH and wondering why you're gaining weight.
