Well according to your pic, you look hot already! eat more fruits and vegetable and try to get exercise daily. cut down on soda and fats/ junk food with healthy diets and exercise, youll be fine for summer

Unfortunately, there is no way around it! you have to exercise and eat a balanced diet if you want to lose weight the healthy way, the good news is, if you do it properly you will keep it off!! I also recommend joining a gym, I want to lose a couple of pant sizes too and I find it so much easier to work out with a group than by myself, and instructors will generally push you harder than you would yourself. *Good luck Girly! :)

Burn more calories than you eat...and here's some healthy guidelines that'll help: - stay away from added sugars, syrups(candy, soda, even juices aren't great.) - stay away from salty foods - stay away from unhealthy fats(trans, sat) - drink plenty of water - park further away from your destination - exercise for at least 30-45 minutes a day - try and add more protein to your meals so you stay satisfied longer - learn to love your veggies and fruits! - eat whole grains(nothing enriched like white bread.) Like people say just watch what you eat - and try and eat healthy treat yourself known again thou still! Best thing to do would be go to the gym 3/ 4 times a week, do 5 mins bike as warm up, do a few weight machine's on small weights and high reps - then do some cardio I think the treadmill is best - start of walking for 2 mins and then jogging 2 mins and so on for 30 mins to start with and bulid it up.

Your probably better aiming for summer, cause if you try and lose weight really quickly (i'm sure you've heard this before) you'll put it back on PLUS MORE as soon as you start eating normally again. I lost 4 stone and this was how I did it: First week, cut back to 1,000 calories. Have 4 small meals and drink loads of water. Do that for one week and one week only - 1,000 calories isn't enough for more than a week. However, the drastic change should speed up your metabolism, which is good, so do it for a week - i lost 7lbs just by doing that for 1week :) Second week, I'd say eat around 1200 calories. Eat healthy meals. Your meal plans should be something like this; Breakfast: 30g cereal such as branflakes or special k, added with fruit (around 150 calories) and also skimmed milk (idk how many calories, but skimmed has soo much less than full fat, and skimmed also contains no fat whatsoever) Lunch: Salad, with meat or fish for protein - make sure its lowfat. Avoid salad dressing cuz this normally has tonnnnesss of fat - if your gunna have one make sure its lowfat/ weightwatchers. This is around 300 calories alltogether For dinner have something like fish (e.g. salmon) make sure its not battered, with a load of salad as a side. This should be around 500 calories; have a yoghurt after if your still hungry Then, for snacks, eat fresh fruit and drink lots of water. If your craving a sweet taste, go to tesco or something and look at the weightwatcher selection they have; weightwatchers do loads of really tasty chocolate and its only around 90 cals a bar :) Excercise is important too, i reccomend 1hr of excercise every 3 days in a week. Running, jogging, walking, biking are all stuff you can do without a gym but join one if you want too. Follow this and you should lose waaaay over 2stone by summer. Try aiming to lose 2lbs a week (it doesn't sound much, but it adds up i promise!) 2lbs a week= 8lbs a month= in 4 months time you will have lost way over 2stone :) Good luck!!

Im a religious person and believe in God's natural remedies... in one week i lost 7kgs (which i think is approx. 1 stone) and a further 5kgs the following week (i didnt want to lose any more so now im just making sure i keep it off)... one full week... drink just lemon water (the juice of 2 medium-sized lemons to every 1.5 - 2litres water)... as much as you can and drink nothing else (no matter how much you hate the bitter taste and crave a coke :))... for your 3 meals a day: blend veges into a juice (choose any 3 veges and chuck em into your blender), it might taste yuck but its only 1 glass of it to substitute your meal and thats it (fill yourself with lemon water)... if you really have cant cope and have to have something to eat then you can snack on fresh fruit... and a lot of exercise... (we did a lot of "zumba " :)...) second week... if you wanna lose more you can repeat first week (which is wat we did)... or else go into lemon juice and raw foods, just raw fruits, nuts, grains, and veges, remembering not to mix fruits with veges... (eat them at separate times)... and carry on with exercise... ___________________________________ this is similar to he 'lemon detox' diet, but based on God's Original Diet... if you're on any medication, try and not take any... the weight you lose in the first week is not so much fat but all the toxins in your system... medications and processed foods are loaded with poisons/ chemicals to preserve them and when you put them into your system you eventually get sick then you need other medications to fight the previous stuff you put on so on... once you eat healthy (surprisingly there are a lot of meat substitutes that taste like meat) the nutrients break down the 'bad fats' and the lemon water washes them down and out, causing the weight loss... sorry to preach and all but the 'healthy' part was the main reason i did this program/ diet... the weight loss was the bonus... i found it quite easy to do (the 2 weeks) but maybe its just because we're vegan and that made it easy for us to live on vege juice and raw foods etc... but good luck and be careful...

When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together. If you diet without exercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. For diet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If you don't eat wheat then you don't eat all those sticky, fatty goey cakes, you don't eat junk food, and you don't eat biscuits. But your diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising, start with walking, and then switch to running/ jogging. Running is the most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack, disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target your problem areas for men and women. It's not necessarily to become a bodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help you to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

There is no quick fix to losing weight. Trust me ive tried them all.. From Weight Loss tablets even the Cabbage Soup Diet :(. Sure the weight comes off but as soon as you stop it piles back on twice as fast and twice as much. Not to mention the nasty side effects from slimming pills. Use a smaller plate for your meals as this tricks your mind into thinking your still eating a larger meal. Throw away the frying pan and grill instead. Eat more fruit and veg. Get more exercise and very soon you will reap the benefits. Hope this helps. Im off now to practice what i preach... right after this bacon sarnie :)

You will find over 23,000 pre-existing questions. Try the misspellings 'loose weight' and there are another 6,500. In all there are over 70,000 Health section questions requesting solutions to being or thinking you might be overweight. On average these each yield 6 answers, that is over 420,000 answers.
